Cancer survivors Walter and Linda Kotecki share candid stories about their individual experiences of being diagnosed with cancer, and how their respective journeys took them from fear to faith.
The devoted couple had big plans when Linda’s cancer was diagnosed. She describes feeling like she was going to “upset the whole apple cart” of their plans because everything they thought they had in order was going to be upended. Walter describes experiencing disbelief, denial, and then anger. Despite their feelings, however, they each decided to begin their respective treatments. They also talk about the challenge of informing their family, which they share in a lighthearted and “bee-youtiful” manner.
