Show Notes:
We’re reintroduced to Connie Singleton, Spiritual Outreach Coordinator for the Our Journey of Hope Cancer Care Leadership program at CTCA. In this episode, Connie breaks down the Our Journey of Hope strategy and curriculum, detailing how the free, eight-lesson training begins with key leaders in a church who then equip others in their church. They are then commissioned and matched with people in their congregation with cancer who desire to receive ministry.
Connie also shares a story about a 13-year old young girl who got involved with the Our Journey of Hope training because she wanted to know how to be able to minister to her peers who are battling cancer. “I was blown away,” Connie says. “To hear of one child having the compassion and the heart to want to learn how to do ministry, that was very encouraging to me.”
