Show Notes:
Rev. McCray highlights three main ways to honor the life of a loved one who has passed. The first suggestion is to honor the life they lived. We can share the stories of the people they touched, the kindness they gave, and the things they accomplished. “A person usually cannot control how they died, so we should focus on how they lived.”
Secondly, Rev. McCray suggests to honor the courage of the cancer patient’s journey. What are the things they showed and shared during their last days on earth? “Cancer can really push a person to have to dig deep and this virus is no different. The courage of the journey cannot be understated and should be acknowledged.”
And finally, listeners are encouraged to thank God for the personal moments they spent with their loved one. “Every moment, every experience, every meal together matters. They are blessings.”
