Show Notes:
Dr. Bill Glass, a cardiologist for more than fifty years, and with CTCA for three years, witnesses the power of faith in his patients. “We can treat some depression and some anxiety, but you really get down to it, and the only common denominator that really can help those people in those emotional states, and which I’ve seen actually be of tremendous help, is their faith.”
As a man of science, Dr. Glass advocates for the value of the health of a whole person, which is why he serves in cardiology at CTCA. Some treatment drugs negatively affect heart function, as well as some patients need a cardiologist on their care team because of previous heart conditions.
At the end of the day, leaving a positive mark in the world gives Dr. Glass inspiration and hope. Rev. Percy McCray also shares about the importance of doing all we can while we can on earth to make a positive impact.
