Can one really find joy during a cancer journey?
Show Notes:
Entering the HHI studio is Onjalai Brown who was diagnosed with breast cancer in September 2021 and at the time of recording, the day before had just celebrated completing her 16th round of chemotherapy.
While visiting a friend in Hawaii and resting in bed from effects of COVID, Onjalai discovered a lump in her breast as she states, “I found it and I knew instantly what it was, and it was not a surprise to me.”
Please download and listen now to this compelling testimonial of a young woman who talks very candidly about losses in her life prior to and during her cancer journey to declare, “Ultimately anything that we go through is to restore others to Him (God). And there is nothing more powerful in testimony than seeing your circumstances, and someone else lived out, to know that this will not last forever. Just hold on and cling to hope and know your day is coming.”
Quotes:
- “This battle is 90% mental and 10% physical.”
- “I have found, that throughout this entire journey that my state of mind made the ultimate difference of how I would make it from moment to moment.”
- “If you focus on you, you get caught up in what you only see, versus you being able to look up and round and see how God wants to use you.”
- “You can’t speak about anything that you don’t know about.”
