I’ve heard about many amazing reactions from individuals when told they had cancer, but in my more than two decades of providing cancer care support, I had never heard of a reaction you’ll hear from ovarian cancer patient Andrea Sisler.
Her can-do spirit and mental resolve of having ovarian cancer will be the framework for this discussion with this mother and nurse, who forged a pathway to push through her cancer treatment and care.
Today, Andrea has no evidence of disease and is currently under observation at City of Hope Atlanta.
